Registration for Quake 'N Bake:PG13 is officially open. Read the Help/FAQ for how the registration/payment process works. We've changed it up a bit from last time. In order to prevent any surprises and to keep things going smoothly, check 'em out. Tournament rules and sponsorship information should be coming soon. Also, the schedule is subject to change, but we're hoping to keep it fairly similar to what's already presented.

People have been begging, pleading, threatening, and offering me all kinds of ... favors if I would only just tell them that there were going to be another QNB event. Well people, it's time to make good on those promises. It's been way too long since our last event, and it's time we fixed that. Quake 'N Bake:PG13 is scheduled for April 5th and 6th, and it's going to be big - REALLY BIG. This will be an event that you will not want to miss for ANYTHING!! Registration opens soon. Check back here for updates.

Well, I know that we normally have a LAN around this time, but we aren't going to be able to do it this time around. Trying to get a high-speed dedicated Internet connection for the game server, and finding a new location for the LAN has taken a lot longer than expected.

However, you can be assured that we will start all the earlier on the planning for the March/April LAN. Check the site for further updates, and look to see the public game server up and running soon. Watch out for the LAN next Spring, as it will truly be one of our finest!

Yes yes that's right, I have finally finished up the code for images and videos for our past events. Click the multimedia link on the side bar for some images of the past events.
As for the game servers, they should be back up and running within the next two weeks.
As for the next event, we will be announcing a date shortly so keep checking the site.

Ya, ya I know, I have been slackin on the webpage lately. I blame it on my boss's and the heat :)
I'm going to finish up some of the past event code here shortly so expect to see past event wrapups and photo's in the near future. For those of you who still play online games, expect a big announcement from us sometime in July, that's all I'm saying about that for now.
BTW, I wish the air conditioning was functioning at work!!!!

Well, as you can see, the game server is back up. I still have to load up all the 3rd party maps and tweak out some plugins but it should be stable and quick for you guys.
Now leave my poor mailbox alone.

Yes that's right, the web/mail server has been moved to it's own connection now, no more sharing merlin's dorm connect :)
If you are seeing this then dns has propagated through the various servers out there.
On a side note, I'm in the middle of moving and HATE cleaning up the damn zip tie clippings that came about from making net cables for qnb.

Time is very quickly running out, and the event is just days away. Registration is going to close on Thursday. So, please get your day/food preferences updated, and register/unregister before tomorrow.

These are a few of the remaining details that we wanted everyone to know:

Saturday 6:00PM - Da Vinci's pizza - $4.00

I thought we'd compare a Gamecube to the Xbox, so I threw the two together in a bag and we'll see which one people want more.
An AMD Athlon XP 1800+ Retail processor just magically appeared one day, so we decided to give that away too.

For those of you that are avid CS players you probably know that CS 1.4 and Steam are scheduled to be released this week. We would like to inform everyone that the Tournament and game day servers will still be running CS 1.3 for this event. We have put a lot of thought into this and believe this will be the best way to go for this event. All other games will be up to date with the current available patches.

Update: With CS 1.4 being released on Wednesday, the Counterstrike tournament and game servers will be running CS 1.3 for the tournament. There will be non-tournament servers running CS 1.4 to allow people to go ahead and play on the latest version. There will be local copies of all the CS-related patches to allow everyone to update.
