====================================
Notes: First off the gameplay rules are CAL CS Main League Rules
Read them, know them, no bitching.

1.0 Tournament rules
- 1.1 - Double Elimination
- Best of 24 series
- 12 rounds per side, each team will play CT and T. Highest cumulative score wins.
- Ties will be decided by 2 3-round halves, again, highest cumulative score is winner.
- There is no seeding for this tourney, brackets are randomly setup. Double elimination makes sure each team plays at least twice.
- 1.2 - Maps
- The maps will be picked by the staff for each round. The maps that will be played are: de_prodigy, de_cbble, de_nuke, de_dust2, de_train, de_aztec, de_inferno.
- 1.3 - Matches will be played as scheduled.
- The captain of the winning team will be responsible for reporting the scores. Failure to do so could result in a loss for both teams.
- All matches will start within 5 minutes of the set start time. This means no leaving for food or the bathroom or whatever. We will be having set breaks to allow you to take care of all of that.
2.0 Cheats and other stuff
- 2.1 - Cheats/hacks
- Don't do it you moron, its a frickin' lan. You will get caught and you will be eliminated from the tourney and not be allowed to play any other tourneys.
- 2.2 - Fun
- Everyone is here to have fun competing in these tournaments, andtrash talking is not shunned. Be courteous and realize if someone is not enjoying your trash talk.
- 2.3 - Questions
- These rules are subject to change.
- Any questions you may have regarding rules, maps, or the meaning of life, send me an email at leviathonisu@hotmail.com.
Quake 3: OSP 1v1 Tournament
====================================
Notes: Due to popular demand, I am making the q3 1v1 tournament osp DM.

1.0 Tournament Runthrough
- 1.1 - Tournament rules
- Double Elimination
- Matches are 15 minutes
- Seeding possible depending on who is signed up.
****NOTE - If there are a lot of players who I do not recogize, brackets will be random.
- 1.2 - Maps
- Maps will be determined by opponents. If neither player can agree on a single map, for whatever reason, than each player will choose one of the four maps (see the next subsection) to throw out. Of the remaining two maps, a flip of a coin will determine which to one is played, heads for one map and tails for the other.
- Maps will be selected from the following so practice these maps:
- pro-q3dm6
- pro-q3tourney4
- ospdm8 (this is a different map than the norm, practice up)
- ztn3tourney1
- 1.3 - Matches
- Matches are 15 minutes as noted before (1.1).
- Matches will be recorded by each player, for disputes etc. etc.
2.0 Cheats/hacks
- 2.1 - Cheats/hacks
- This should not be a problem because it is a LAN, but anyone caught wall hacking or bot using will be removed from the tournament.
- Following removal from the tournament, the offender's computer will be dragged outside and smashed into little pieces and scattered all over the city of Ames.
- Punkbuster will be enabled on the server. If anyone is unfamiliar with how punkbuster works and needs help setting up their config to work with punkbuster, contact me or someone else working on the tournaments.
- Cheating does not only pertain to 3rd party programs such as wallhacks or bots. Certain settings are also not allowed that work similar to wallhacks in quake3. example: cg_shadows 2, and r_shownormals commands will be dissallowed. Punkbuster should check for these settings so this should not be a problem.
- 2.2 - Fun
- Everyone is here to have fun competing in these tournaments. Trash talking is not shunned, but only if it is meant in good spirits. Be courteous and realize if someone is not enjoying your trash talk.
- 2.3 - Questions
- These rules are subject to change.

- Depending on numbers, possible FFA to get down to a workable size like 32 or so.
- Matches are 15 Mins
- 1.2 Maps
- 1v1 - We will use DM-Serpantine, which is a real bitch, but it will separate the men from the boyz
- FFA we will use DM-TokaraForest for large groups, and DM-IceTomb for smaller groups
- 1.3 Matches
- Matches are 15 minutes, highest score wins
- Matches will be recorded by each player for disputes etc.

Battefield 1942: 20v20 Tournament
====================================
The Battlefield tourney is a fun tourney, meaning it is mainly scheduled as a time for everyone to sit down and start fraggin' WWII style. The plan is to get teams of 20 going. Larger teams are possible depending on how much interest there is. Players should aim for being the one with the most kills on their team.

=======================================
This is the first time we have run this tournament, so we are not sure as to what odd events could happen. The basics should be covered in these rules. Any questions about something not on here, feel free to contact me on IRC via #quakenbake on ETG (irc.enterthegame.com) or email me at: eating_disorder18@hotmail.com

1.0 Tournament Run Through
- 1.1 - Players will compete 1v1 in this tournament.
- 1.2 - In the case that there are more than 16 players signed up for this tourney, we will be hosting a FFA qualifier, in which the top so many players left in a game will move to a 1v1.
****example - if there are 4 groups of FFA's with 8 people per group, for a total of 32 players. The top 4 players from each group would advance onto the 1v1 tournament, leaving the 4 people eliminated first out of each group to be out.
****NOTE - if more than 32 players, we may go extra FFA groups or multiple rounds... T.B.D.
- 1.3 - Seeding will go according to exit from the FFA.
****example - if you win your FFA bracket/last one standing than you would be guaranteed a top seed, if there are 4 groups, you would be seeded 1-4 at random, placing second in your group would give you seeding 5-8, so on so forth you see how it works
2.0 Match Rules 1v1, and FFA
- 2.1 - FFA's will be played on a custom map that fits 8 players, the map is called "hallowed ground." Anyone looking to get this map to play before Quake-n-bake, can contact me via IRC at the tournament discussion channel I have open. #quakenbake on ETG (irc.enterthegame.com). I will try to get the map posted on the quake-n-bake site.
- 2.2 - In the FFA matches everyone starts with main building and their basic starting units, no advanced settings will be used, with exception of "full observers" will be set to on so that a staff member/designated person will watch to ref a match. A demo will be recorded for any disputes.
- 2.3 - 1v1 matches are last man standing wins, similar rules to FFA, in that there are no advanced settings, and full observers on for a ref of the match.
- 2.4 - HIDE THE FARM // As much as I hate to allow it, it can be a viable tactic in 1v1. This is where sportsmanship comes in. If you know you have lost, and have but a peon, and a farm left, please leave the game, and allow the others to play on, or if its in 1v1 a ref will call the game even if the opponent has not found your farm(s).
****NOTE: to those reffing matches, make sure a player does not have the resources to build another base, or that they do not have a sizeable army or hero left. If a hero and/or army is still left and active, let it play out. I have seen some wierd matches where a persons town was destroyed yet they won the match with some great 'micro.'
3.0 Maps for 1v1 and FFA
- 3.1 - 1v1 maps will be played from the following, and chosen by a ref of the match.
- Lost Temple
- Plunder Isle
- Frostsabre
- Tranquil Paths
- 3.2 - FFA Map is "Hallowed Ground" which is a custom, for further information about this map and how to get it refer to section 2.1.
****NOTE - these are the maps, most everyone knows or has at least seen, so get practicing!
4.0: Cheaters and other shady types.
- 4.1 - Map Hackers will be shot on sight. Anyone caught cheating in any way will be tossed from the tourney and will receive a swift kick to the face. if thats not bad enough, you will be barred from competing in any futher Q-n-B tourneys.
- 4.2 - Lamers, AKA Hide the farmers, your punishment is not as severe, but any attempt to play hide the farm from an opponent only to frustrate them will be ended, if there is "NO WAY" you can win the game.
